Prompts and routines for AI assistants
Copy a prompt into your assistant and Bytown does the work in your ad accounts. Reads answer straight away; changes wait for your yes.
Every prompt here works in any connected assistant. The Changes? column tells you whether the prompt reads only, or stages a change for you to confirm.

Routines
Assistants that run on a schedule, such as Grok Bot, ChatGPT dots and Instinct, take a standing brief. Keep "ask me first" in every routine.
Weekly check (Grok Bot)
Every Monday at 7 AM, use @Bytown to check my ad accounts. Post the three biggest problems to #marketing and stage fixes for my approval. Never change a budget without asking me.
Daily brief (ChatGPT dot)
Use Bytown for all my ad accounts. Check them every morning at 7 and bring me the three things to fix. Ask me before you change anything.
Morning text (Instinct)
Text me every morning at 8 with yesterday's ad results from Bytown. Call me if my cost per lead doubles.
Standing instruction (Muse, Claude or ChatGPT)
For anything about my ads, use Bytown and its ad tools. Always show me a change before you make it.
Tips for better answers
- Name the platform and window. "Google, last 14 days" beats "recently".
- Say what good looks like. "Cost per lead under $40" gives Bytown a target to judge against.
- Ask for the why. "Explain why before you suggest a change" gets you the reasoning with the fix.
- One business at a time. Each connection covers one Bytown business. Connect again to switch.
